Numerous studies have shown that people who are involved in sports are healthier than those who are not. High blood pressure and other diseases associated with modern-day living are rarely found in sports enthusiasts.

This is a further incentive for Bayer to continue its promotion of all levels of sport: top-level professional sport because exceptional performances always fascinate and motivate people; recreational sport because non-professional sporting activities always carry health benefits, and disabled sports because, despite the athletes' physical limitations, participation in sports leads to a real sense of achievement. And naturally sports for kids, because we all have a special responsibility to future generations.

Bayer has been supporting sport for more than a hundred years. 50,000 members make use of the facilities we offer in 27 Bayer sports clubs. They know that sports are fun. And they also know that participation in sports is one of the best ways of preventing illness.
